William Robinson and Marmaduke Stevenson, two Quakers who came from England in 1656 to escape religious persecution, are hanged in Massachusetts for their religious beliefs.

Well, you know how subversive those Quakers can be, spreading their peace-stuff.  How can one fulfill manifest destiny without a little warfare?
